- Linux Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security settings.
- Perform regular patch management and updates to Linux systems.
- Develop and test disaster recovery plans for critical systems.
- Monitoring & Performance Tuning:
- Utilize monitoring tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize system configurations for maximum efficiency and reliability.
- Security:
- Apply security patches and adhere to compliance policies.
- Configure firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures as necessary.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Experience in virtualization technologies, including storage integration and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, or shell scripting.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or similar) and log management solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Linux certifications (e.g., RHCE, RHCSA).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience Required:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Linux systems administration
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
