SKTeknologies, a leading recruitment firm in the Staffing and Recruiting industry, is seeking experienced Linux Device Drivers (LDD) for their Bengaluru location in India. With over 9-15 years of experience, the selected candidates will be responsible for developing and maintaining various device drivers.
Role And Responsibilities
The Linux Device Driver (LDD) engineers will be primarily responsible for the following:
- Developing and maintaining device drivers for Linux and Android platforms
- Working with protocols such as CPU, UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO, DMA, GMSL, GMSL2, MIPI CSI, V4L2, VB2, OpenMax-IL, GStreamer, Codec2, etc.
- Integrating and optimizing audio and video codecs like H264, HEVC, VP9, etc.
- Implementing display pipelines using DRM, DSI, DP, DPU, etc.
- Designing and implementing Audio Algorithms like Equalizer, delay, post-processing, etc.
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidates for this position should have the following qualifications:
- BE, BTECH, ME, M.Tech in Computer Science or related field
- 6-12 years of experience in Linux / Android device driver development
Required Skills
The candidates should possess expertise in the following skills:
- C/C++ programming
- Familiarity with Linux kernel and Android multimedia frameworks
- Knowledge of protocols and frameworks such as V4L2, VB2, OpenMax-IL, GStreamer, etc.
- Experience with audio and video codecs like H264, HEVC, VP9
- Understanding of display pipelines and related technologies
