Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and administer Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Linux systems for availability, performance, and security issues.
- Configure, manage, and maintain Fortigate firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPN (IPSec/SSL), and UTM features.
- Implement and enforce network and security policies to protect business-critical applications.
- Perform log analysis, incident response, and troubleshooting of security/network issues.
- Work with DNS, DHCP, NFS, FTP, Apache/Nginx, and SSH services.
- Manage user accounts, file systems, and access control.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using shell scripting or Python.
- Collaborate with network/security teams to ensure secure integration of systems and applications.
- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Linux Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on expertise with Fortigate Firewalls (configuration, policies, VPN, UTM, high availability).
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall concepts.
- Experience in system monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, etc.).
- Experience with patch management and system hardening.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is an added advantage.
- Strong scripting knowledge (Bash, Shell, Python preferred).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across Linux OS, firewall, and network layers.

Qualification- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications preferred: RHCSA/RHCE, Fortinet NSE 4/5.
