Job Summary:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Linux Administrator with 6 months to 2 years of hands-on experience in managing Linux-based systems. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing our Linux infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
- Apply patches, updates, and security configurations.
- Manage system backups and recovery.
- Automate routine tasks using shell scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
- Support deployment and maintenance of applications in production and development environments.
- Ensure server and network security through proper configuration and monitoring.
- Collaborate with development, network, and security teams for system optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 6 months 2 years of experience as a Linux/System Administrator.
- Proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu).
- Basic understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, IP routing, firewalls).
- Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Python preferred).
- Knowledge of system monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.).
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
- Understanding of DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Git) will be an advantage.

Preferred Certifications (optional):- RHCSA / RHCE (Red Hat Certified System Administrator / Engineer)
