This role is for a Linux Administrator focused on building and maintaining software modules for cloud systems automation. The ideal candidate will have excellent programming skills, strong troubleshooting abilities in UNIX/Linux environments, and a solid understanding of cloud technologies and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software modules for use and re-use in cloud systems automation.
• Utilize strong programming (preferably Python) and automation skills for system tasks.
• Perform system engineering and troubleshooting in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Manage and operate large-scale deployments of systems.
• Conduct performance evaluation and tuning of systems/applications.
• Architect and build high-volume, mission-critical cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.

Skills

Required Skills:

• Excellent programming (Python preferred) and automation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and system engineering exposure in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Good experience with Linux and Networking Protocols (specifically Internet protocols).
• Experience with Large-Scale Operations.
• Sound knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure (preferred) and AWS.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Graphite.
• Proven ability to architect and build high-volume, mission-critical cloud-native applications.
• Excellent communication skills.

Good to have:

• Experience with clusters such as Kubernetes, AKS, and/or Mesos.

Qualifications

• BE / B Tech in Computer Science or MCA from a premier institute.
