Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage Oracle VM (OVM) environments
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Linux systems
Implement and follow best practices for system administration and performance optimization
Manage storage using LVM and configure file systems
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
Configure and maintain services such as NFS and Samba servers
Perform system patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting
Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting and tools like Ansible
Manage system security, access control, and compliance
Work with monitoring tools like Nagios
Support clustering environments such as Veritas Cluster Server
Collaborate with teams and provide technical leadership where required
