About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Linguistic Project Coordinator to support coordination across linguistic operations, client communication workflows, and internal growth support functions.
This role will work closely with linguistic consultants, development teams, delivery teams, internal stakeholders, and the Head of Growth to ensure smooth project execution, operational efficiency, timely client coordination, and performance reporting across ongoing projects and accounts.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent English communication skills, strong coordination and operational abilities, strong Excel proficiency, and a high ownership mindset. This is a fast-paced role requiring someone who can effectively manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and workflows simultaneously.
We are specifically looking for someone who can join immediately or at short notice and quickly adapt to a dynamic, fast-moving work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary coordination point between the linguistics team, development team, capabilities team, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication, collaboration, and timely project execution.
- Manage and monitor linguistic project workflows, including task assignments, timelines, progress tracking, and follow-ups to ensure delivery deadlines are met efficiently.
- Coordinate translation and localization requirements with relevant teams, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency across all translated materials and UI components.
- Support implementation and adoption of new language capabilities, tools, technologies, and operational improvements related to translation and localization processes.
- Monitor and manage multiple client inboxes, ensuring timely responses, escalations, follow-ups, and coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Support day-to-day client operations and internal operational coordination across ongoing projects and cross-functional teams.
- Prepare, maintain, and share weekly reports related to client performance, operational metrics, project updates, and product performance tracking.
- Maintain structured documentation of workflows, timelines, operational processes, and support troubleshooting of language or coordination-related issues during project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging developments in translation, localization, and operational workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Translation, Business Operations, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in linguistic coordination, operations coordination, project management support, localization support, client operations, or similar operational roles is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets is mandatory.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a structured and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and manage coordination independently.
- Familiarity with translation/localization tools and workflows is a plus.
- Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage but not mandatory.
