Line Supervisor

Vegrow operates in the fresh fruits sector, addressing a substantial $60 billion market. As a tech platform, Vegrow partners with farmers, aggregates their supply, and connects them to organized demand, ensuring better land utilization and simplified farming. Founded by a group of IIT alumni with deep expertise in agri-input, agri-output businesses, and tech-driven marketplaces, Vegrow is a VC-funded startup solving critical challenges in the agriculture sector. The team is passionate about leveraging technology to create impactful solutions for farmers and the agricultural ecosystem.

The Line Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Jalgaon. The individual will manage day-to-day operations on the production line, monitor team members performance, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, inspecting equipment, enforcing compliance with operational protocols, addressing delays or issues promptly, and ensuring overall efficiency in execution. The Supervisor will report performance metrics and collaborate with other teams to streamline processes.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising team performance and productivity.
• Knowledge of production processes and standards, including equipment operation and safety compliance.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address operational challenges and ensure smooth workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with diverse teams and provide clear instructions.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics, maintain records, and prepare reports as needed.
• An understanding of agricultural or fresh produce operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in operations, production, or a related field.
