Line Producer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and monitor production budgets and schedules from pre-production through post.
• Coordinate hiring of crew, cast (if applicable), and key vendors.
• Supervise all logistical aspects of the production including equipment rentals, locations, travel, and accommodations.
• Manage production office operations and ensure smooth on-set execution.
• Work closely with the Producer and Director to align creative goals with logistical feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with union, legal, and safety regulations.
• Monitor and track daily expenses, cost reports, and cash flow.
• Troubleshoot on-set challenges and resolve conflicts in real-time.
• Oversee wrap processes including final payments, paperwork, and post-production handoff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Line Producer on film, TV, or digital productions.
• Strong budgeting and scheduling skills using software like Movie Magic Budgeting/Scheduling or equivalent.
• Excellent understanding of production workflows, union rules (SAG-AFTRA, DGA, IATSE), insurance, and permits.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of post-production processes is a plus.
