Develop and deliver lighting design concepts from feasibility through to detailed design and construction stages.
Produce detailed lighting layouts, schedules, and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD, ensuring all lighting elements are accurately modelled and coordinated within the architectural design.
Perform lighting calculations and simulations using DIALux, DIALux evo, and Relux.
Produce detailed lighting layouts and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate lighting seamlessly into architectural and urban design.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and sustainability goals (e.g., Part L, LEED, BREEAM).
Support project delivery across multiple sectors including transport, commercial, and public realm.
Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to design excellence within the team.
Qualifications
3-7 years of professional experience in architectural lighting design.
Proficiency in Revit (Must), AutoCAD, DIALux, DIALux evo, Photoshop, InDesign, and visualization tools.
Strong understanding of lighting principles, photometric analysis, and lighting control systems.
Experience working on UK or international projects is highly desirable.
Degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
