Lighting Designer

Job Title: Lighting Designer

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 6 months to 3 years

Preferred: Prior experience or internship in architectural lighting

Role Summary:

Lighting Designer with a strong design sensibility and a basic to intermediate understanding of architectural lighting. The role involves developing lighting concepts, preparing technical drawings, and supporting projects from concept stage through execution. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a design-led architectural lighting brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop lighting concepts based on architectural and interior design drawings

Prepare detailed lighting layouts and drawings using AutoCAD

Perform lighting calculations and simulations using DIALux

Assist in luminaire selection considering application, optics, wattage, and aesthetics

Prepare luminaire schedules, BOQs, and basic technical specifications

Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, and internal teams

Support sales and project teams with design inputs, revisions, and presentations

Assist during site execution, aiming, focusing, and final project handover

Required Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Working knowledge of DIALux

Basic understanding of architectural lighting principles

Good communication and coordination skills

Attention to detail and design sensitivity

Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field

Prior experience or internship in architectural lighting is preferred
