A Lighting AutoCAD Designer creates detailed, technical lighting layouts, plans, and, specifications for residential, commercial, or theatrical projects using AutoCAD. They collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project teams to develop functional and aesthetic lighting solutions,, often producing 3D models and bills of quantity to ensure technical accuracy and, on-site implementation.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Design: Develop CAD lighting layouts,,, including plans, sections, elevations, and lighting details.Documentation: Prepare detailed, fixture schedules, technical specifications, and, bills of quantity.Collaboration: Work with architects,, interior designers, and clients to align, lighting with the overall project, design.Software Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD for drafting; experience with, tools like DIALux or Revit for, calculations is often required.Site Coordination: Conduct site visits, to verify, conditions, inspect installations, and, coordinate with, logistics for, product deliveries.Design Development: Create, 3D models or conceptual sketches for, presentation.
