• Assign appropriate codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify ambiguous documentation and ensure compliance with coding guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies and government payers, following up on any denials or discrepancies.
