Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Mumbai for a Life Raft Technician. The ideal candidate will assemble, inspect, repair, repack, and certify life rafts according to industry standards and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include ensuring all work is performed safely, maintaining detailed documentation of inspections and repairs, coordinating with supervisors and team members, and adhering to scheduled maintenance requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of life raft production, servicing, inspection procedures, and maintenance practices
• Proficiency in handling tools and equipment used in repair, servicing and production.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and follow compliance guidelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and work in a physically demanding environment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Certifications or training in life raft servicing are highly desirable
• Experience in the maritime or ship repair industry is an advantage
