Job Description
- Organise, catalogue, and classify library resources both electronic and print-based
- Keep current on resources and literature and select publications for the library collections
- Keep track of numerous information sources and select appropriate materials for the library
- Recommend materials and help the students and teachers find the information they need
- Oversee the management of the library
- Manage the circulation system to ensure the confidentiality of library records
- Work with the teaching staff to take steps to cultivate a love for reading among children
- Make the library attractive and accessible to all children and staff by including displays, guides and publicity materials
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Required Profile: At least 2 years of experience as a Librarian in CBSE schools.
Qualification: Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Library Science or Information Studies
