Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Librarian for our school in Sangrur Punjab to support our educational programs and foster a love of reading among students.

Responsibilities

• Assist students and faculty in locating and accessing library resources.
• Manage library collections, including acquisition, cataloging, and classification of books and materials.
• Organize library events and activities to promote reading and research skills.
• Maintain a welcoming and informative environment in the library.
• Provide instruction on the use of library resources, databases, and catalog systems.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with library management systems and cataloging standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of digital libraries and online research tools.
