Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key government bodies, including:
Jal Boards / Water Supply & Sewerage Boards
Municipal Corporations & Urban Local Bodies
Public Works Department (PWD)
State Pollution Control Boards
Urban Development Authorities
Secure all statutory approvals, permissions, and clearances required for:
Water pipeline laying projects
Right of Way (ROW) permissions
Environmental and regulatory compliances
Act as the primary interface between Welspun and government authorities for all liaisoning matters.
Drive proactive engagement with authorities to anticipate challenges and expedite approval timelines.
Monitor and interpret regulatory changes impacting infrastructure and water pipeline projects.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Projects, Legal, Compliance, Land Acquisition, and Business Development teams) to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
Support project bidding and tendering processes by ensuring all regulatory and statutory prerequisites are met.
Handle critical escalations, negotiations, and representations with senior government officials.
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and trackers for all approvals and liaisoning activities.
Key Requirements:
Graduate in Engineering / Law / Public Administration / Management (MBA preferred).
15+ years of proven experience in government liaisoning within infrastructure, EPC, water, or pipeline industry.
Strong network with government officials at state and central levels.
Familiarity with large-scale project execution environments.
