This role supports Legal, Vendor Management, and Government Affairs functions by reviewing, abstracting, and tracking contractual and policy-related documents, maintaining organized systems, and assisting with process automation. The resource will ensure compliance, consistency, and timely delivery of key documentation while supporting ongoing operational improvements.

Skills:

  • Legal Terminology Proficiency Understand and be able to apply legal contractual language (English).
  • Analytical & Critical Thinking Be able to identify nuances, inconsistencies, obligations, and other issues in documents based on provided instructions/playbook.
  • Document Review Expertise Efficiently scan and identifying relevant contract sections for abstraction purposes (e.g., indemnity, termination, renewal)
  • Confidentiality & Ethics Handle sensitive or privileged information responsibly.
  • Time & Task Management Prioritize and deliver multiple assignments within defined timelines.
  • Clear & Proactive Communication Communicate findings and issues effectively.
  • Knowledge Retention & Process Adherence Learn and apply company-specific workflows and systems accurately.
  • Technical Tools Proficient in Smartsheet, Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Agiloft, NetSuite, or similar contract management systems a plus.

Customer Contracts Support

  • Assist Legal Team in managing contract flow through the Smartsheet process.
  • Track, save, and abstract customer contracts accurately and consistently.
  • Ensure version control and minimize duplication across stakeholders.

Vendor Management Support

  • Enter and update vendor requests in NetSuite.
  • Maintain accurate vendor contract records in Agiloft.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative and compliance-related tasks as needed.

Government Affairs Support

  • Assist with AI legislative monitoring tool research, onboarding, and training materials.
  • Coordinate meetings and calls for the VP of Government Affairs.
  • Maintain stakeholder rosters,dashboards, and tracking sheets.
  • Format, edit, and organize reports, summaries, and meeting notes for internal distribution.

Performance Metrics / KPIs

  • Contract summaries or entries completed per week/month
  • Turnaround time for document reviews
  • Error or rework rate on contract abstractions
  • Timeliness of updates in Smartsheet/Agiloft
  • Completion of assigned GA support tasks.
