Role Overview
We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Legal Associate who will own and streamline our contracting workflows. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with business teams, simplifying legal complexity, and ensuring contracts are both robust and practical.
What You'll Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (vendor agreements, partnership agreements, NDAs, service agreements, etc.)
- Build and standardize contract templates and playbooks to improve turnaround time
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide pragmatic legal solutions
- Identify risks in agreements and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Maintain contract lifecycle management—tracking, organizing, and ensuring compliance
- Collaborate with finance and business teams on deal structuring from a legal standpoint
- Keep contracts aligned with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
- 4-8 years of experience in legal roles with strong exposure to contract drafting and review
- Law degree (LLB/LLM) from a reputed institution
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts and negotiation principles
- Ability to balance legal rigor with business practicality
- High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- Strong communication skills—ability to simplify legal language for non-legal stakeholders
