Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and analytical Legal Policy Advisor India to guide the development, review, and implementation of legal and regulatory policies. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with Indian laws, advising leadership on policy impact, and supporting governance and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, review, and update internal legal and compliance policies
Provide policy-level legal advice aligned with Indian laws and regulations
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in India
Conduct legal research and policy impact assessments
Advise management on regulatory risks and mitigation strategies
Support government liaison and regulatory communication when required
Assist in drafting policy papers, compliance manuals, and governance documents
Ensure alignment of company practices with statutory and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); LLM or specialization in public policy preferred
Strong knowledge of Indian legislative and regulatory frameworks
Experience in legal advisory, compliance, or policy development roles preferred
Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills
Ability to interpret complex legal frameworks and translate them into practical policies
