Job summary
As a Manager in the Legal Department of our healthcare BPO company, collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure legal compliance, mitigate risks, and provide expert guidance. Your responsibilities will include managing legal processes, drafting/negotiating contracts, advising cross functional teams, policy review and supporting the senior team member with the company's interests in legal matters related to the healthcare BPO industry.
Duties and responsibilities
- Specific domain knowledge on MSA/SOWs and Service Agreements
- Drafting, Reviewing & Negotiating a wide range of Customer, Vendor, Partnership, Licensing, Non-Disclosure, Lease Agreements for Sagility (including its Affiliates in USA, PHP, Jam & Col) and Maintain database.
- Vetting & Reviewing bids, proposal, RFI/RFP documents relating to customers for Sagility;
- Draft, review, update and maintain Customer, Vendor & Lease Agreement & ancillary document related template for Sagility(including its Affiliates);
- Litigation Support; maintain case files, co-ordinate with external lawyers in India and other Geo's
- M&A support and advice as and when needed.
- Provide advice to cross functional groups in connection with contract executions in various geo's as per Sagility(including its Affiliates) policy and processes;
- Provide legal advice on a broad range of general corporate matters, as needed;
- To be abreast on latest legal developments and to keep the stakeholders informed.
- Wherever required develop presentations and provide training on relevant legal developments and contractual positions to various internal stakeholders of Sagility(including its Affiliates);
- Provide as needed, support required to internal and external auditors;
- Identify and analyze the risk in every contract and effectively communicate the same to the stakeholders in Sagility including its subsidiaries in various geo's
- Support as needed, in procuring or developing in- house legal tools, uploading/updating details on the existing legal tools of Sagility;
- Sound knowledge of labour laws and provide support/advice, as needed on various labour/employment related matters;
- Sound knowledge of IPR laws in India; as needed work on new registration in India and other geo's; coordinate with external IP lawyers; maintain data base;
- Good knowledge on inter-company/related party transactions; maintain data base.
- Closely work with Procurement, Admin, HR Talent Acquisition, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance and HR teams on various matters;
- Timely response to all queries, email; confirm to legal timelines for review of documents and under guidance of the corporate legal team in India;
- Perform all job duties as assigned by the supervising manager from time to time; and
- Showcase sound judgement and ability to analyze situation and information.

Minimum education and experience required
- Must have background in:
- Contracting
- Policy reviewing
- Lease review / contract review
- Should be comfortable working evening shift
- 11:30 AM 8:30/9:30 PM IST
