We are seeking an experienced and business-oriented Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel to act as a trusted strategic partner for a key commercial business division within a leading multinational healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Support & Commercial Governance

  • Provide day-to-day, practical legal advice to business leadership on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including commercial agreements, procurement, tenders, service contracts, and healthcare provider (HCP/HCO) agreements.
  • Identify legal and regulatory risks in business initiatives and propose pragmatic mitigation measures.
  • Monitor evolving local and international regulations affecting the healthcare industry and translate them into actionable business guidance.

2. Healthcare Compliance Frameworks

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the global compliance and ethics program within the division.
  • Review and clear high-risk business activities, including sponsorships, grants, advisory boards, medical events, and interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Conduct third-party compliance due diligence and risk monitoring.
  • Deliver compliance communications and training programs covering anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and codes of conduct.

Profile Requirements

  • Education: Minimum LLB degree from a recognized university.
  • Experience: 5 to 10+ years of progressive in-house legal experience, with a mandatory background in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry.
