Legal Manager--Agri-Fin-Dealer Funding(DF)-Recovery
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities:
- Filing/Attending Arbitration Proceedings and all legal actions/litigation including proceeding u/s 138 of N.I. Act, Civil & Criminal cases for the legal recovery from the defaulters. Effective Resolution of Cases.
- Handling Civil and Criminal cases relating to economic offences and other related cases like Consumer Court, Recovery and Service matters etc.
- Effectively handling the cases and minimizing the litigation filed against the Company.
- To take Interim Orders U/S 9 & U/S 17 of Arbitration & Conciliation Act, resolve the cases by taking attachment Orders against the property of Borrowers from the Court/Tribunal.
- Visit of Police Station and Advocate's office as per the process and requirements.
- Travelling all the Branches across Maharashtra for legal initiation, review and audit.
- Sending legal notices to the defaulters and reply to the notices received by the Company.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Experience of at least 2 years in legal field/corporate lawyer.
- Need to support collections, customer care and other department in terms of legal requirements.
- Shall be good at legal drafting of petitions and replies of notices.
- Shall be having good Knowledge of Arbitration, Sec. 138 Cases under N. I. Act, Police Complaints, Consumer Matters, Execution Petitions, Winding Up Petitions etc.
- Higher Qualification is LLB (Mandatory).
