Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned legal professional with deep expertise in land and property transactions, contracts, and litigation. The role demands end-to-end ownership of due diligence, drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution across complex, high-value real estate deals.
Key Responsibilities
Land & Title Due Diligence (50–60%)
- Lead due diligence for large land parcels (10–15+ acres).
- Navigate complex ownership structures (family, joint, trust, institutional).
- Identify and mitigate title risks including litigation, encumbrances, and fragmentation.
- Demonstrate clear ownership in due diligence processes.
- Provide examples of influencing or halting transactions based on risk assessment.
Contracts (20%)
- Draft and review Sale Deeds, Joint Development Agreements (JDA), Development Agreements, and Power of Attorney (POA).
- Take full ownership of drafting and negotiation, beyond support roles.
- Handle complex and high-value contractual transactions.
Litigation & Registrations (20%)
- Manage property-related litigation matters.
- Oversee registrations and liaise with authorities.
- Engage across advisory, execution, and dispute resolution stages.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in handling large-scale land transactions.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills with exposure to high-value deals.
- Ability to work independently and influence critical decisions.
- Experience across advisory, execution, and litigation stages in property law.
