About Legal Job Opportunity at Fox Mandal & Associates LLP

Fox Mandal & Associates is seeking an experienced Associate to join their Dispute Resolution team in Bengaluru. This is a full-time, on-site role for a lawyer with a strong litigation background and comprehensive drafting skills.

Job Details

Position: Associate – Disputes Team
Experience Required (PQE): 3 years in litigation/disputes.
Job Type: Full-time, On-site
Location: Bengaluru (On-site)
Salary / Compensation: As per firm standards

Practice Areas

Civil and Commercial Litigation
Arbitration and Mediation
Specific Suits (Recovery, Declaration, Possession, Specific Performance, etc.)
Laws including CPC, Consumer Law, Arbitration Act, Contract Law, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

PQE of 3 years in litigation/disputes.
Strong understanding of applicable laws and procedures.
Excellent legal research and persuasive writing skills.
Ability to analyze cases, predict outcomes, and work proactively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Draft and vet pleadings, briefs, motions, memos, and other legal documents.
Attend and argue matters before courts/tribunals.
Prepare for and assist in trials, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.
Draft legal notices, default notices, and responses.
Handle multiple categories of suits: Recovery, Declaration, Possession & Injunction, Specific Performance, etc.
Conduct precise and thorough legal research.
Contribute to the firm's thought leadership and firm culture initiatives.
