About Legal Job Opportunity At Centriik

Role: Trademark Associate
Experience: 12 Years PQE in Intellectual Property.
Location: India (On-site; specific city to be confirmed during the interview process).
Core Focus: Trademark Prosecution, Portfolio Management, and Enforcement.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for protecting the visual identity of brands through the following work:

Clearance Searches: Conducting comprehensive searches on the Trademark Registry and providing risk assessment reports to clients before they launch new brands.
Prosecution: Managing the filing process, drafting responses to Office Actions (Examination Reports), and handling trademark renewals.
Adversarial Matters: Drafting and filing Notice of Oppositions and Counter-Statements.
Enforcement: Issuing Cease & Desist notices, managing domain name disputes (UDRP), and executing online takedowns on social media and e-commerce platforms.
Global Coordination: Working with foreign counsel to manage Madrid Protocol applications and direct filings in international jurisdictions.

Eligibility Criteria

Experience: 12 years specifically in Trademark practice. Candidates with prior exposure to the prosecution side (handling Registry objections) are highly preferred.
Skills: Strong drafting abilities for legal submissions and a keen eye for deceptively similar marks during searches.
Attributes: Ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously and a proactive approach to portfolio management.
