Eligibility: Final-year students or recent graduates in the relevant field

Responsibilities
Conduct Legal Research & Analysis
- Monitor and analyze trademark-related cases, rulings, and legal updates.
- Identify potential brand infringement risks and provide actionable insights
Manage IP Documentation and Compliance
- Draft, review, and maintain IP-related documents including trademark applications, cease & desist letters, and legal notices.
- Ensure compliance with local and international IP laws and regulations.
Data Analysis & Insight Development
- Collect and analyze relevant legal, market, or brand data to support strategic decisions.
- Prepare clear, insightful reports to inform legal and business strategies.
Support Tech and IP-related Projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IP and tech-related matters.
- Contribute to product, content, or tech assessments from a legal/IP lens.
Administrative & Tech Tools Proficiency
- Create and manage presentations, reports, and spreadsheets using MS Office tools.
- Maintain organized records and project documentation for legal and IP portfolios.
Internal & External Communication
- Effectively communicate legal risks, requirements, and updates to internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, or partners as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with team members and departments.
- Participate in meetings, discussions, and decision-making processes across functions.
Qualifications
Position open ONLY to law students - who are currently in their 4th year and above / equivalent of that - in their Bachelor of Law degree program.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IP laws and specifically on topics in Patent Law.
- Strong analytical ability to analyse data, develop insights.
- Experience in the technology and IP sectors is a plus

Duration
This internship is for a duration of 8 weeks and is currently not a paid position AND has the potential to get converted into a full time role.
