Job Description: Legal Executive

Salary Range: 5.5 – 7 LPA

Position Description: Keyence India Private Limited is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and proactive Executive – Legal to support the company's legal, secretarial, and statutory compliance functions. The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, managing compliance-related documentation, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsels, and supporting cross-functional operations. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Contract Drafting & Review

  • Draft, review, and vet legal agreements including Purchase Contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and other customer, supplier, and service provider contracts and documentation.
  • Ensure contractual documents are accurate, legally compliant, and aligned with company policies.

2. Legal Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare, maintain, and organize company secretarial and legal records.
  • Support compliance with applicable corporate, commercial, and statutory regulations.

3. Legal Coordination

  • Handle routine legal matters and coordinate with external legal counsel for case updates, documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Assist in litigation management and regulatory correspondence as required.

4. Statutory Filings & Registrations

  • Prepare and submit data/documents for statutory filings and registrations relating to GST, RBI, MCA, EPF, Professional Tax, Other applicable labour and regulatory laws

5. Operational & Cross-Functional Support

  • Support daily legal and compliance operations.
  • Assist cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Operations) with legal and regulatory input.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in internal processes.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Law, Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent)

Certifications

Relevant professional certifications (preferred)

Training

On-the-job training will be provided

Work Experience

0 to 2 years of experience in a similar legal, compliance, or corporate secretarial role (including internships)
