Job Description

  • Provide legal counsel on business operations and strategies within the Cosmetics/Toiletries industry.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations in the FMCG sector.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Manage legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate potential issues.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external legal counsel when required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to corporate governance policies.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and advise on their impact on the business.
  • Provide training to internal teams on legal and compliance matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A degree in Law from a recognized institution.
  • Proven expertise in handling legal matters in the FMCG sector, especially in Cosmetics/Toiletries.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial laws relevant to the Mumbai region.
  • Exceptional contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple legal cases and provide timely solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
