Legal Counsel

Legodesk is a cloud-based legal software solution that supports law firms, banks, NBFCs, and FinTechs with end-to-end legal practice management. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, Legodesk streamlines legal operations, allowing legal teams to focus on their core work. Its platform enables users to manage cases across Indian courts, automate legal processes, collaborate with clients, facilitate online dispute resolution, and generate legal notices. Additionally, Legodesk provides tools such as optimized route planning, automated reminders, and integrated mapping to enhance efficiency and productivity for field teams.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Advocate (Litigations) based in Bengaluru. The Advocate will be responsible for managing litigation cases, drafting legal notices and pleadings, conducting in-depth legal research, and representing clients in court. The role also involves liaising with clients, assisting with case management, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal guidelines and procedures.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Litigation Management and Case Representation in Indian courts
• Proficiency in Legal Research, Drafting Legal Notices, Pleadings, and Preparing Contracts
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills, including the ability to explain legal terms clearly to clients
• Ability to work collaboratively with legal teams and clients, providing strategic legal advice
• Proficiency in using legal technology tools and platforms
• Legal degree (LLB or equivalent) and enrollment with the State Bar Council
• Prior experience in corporate litigation or financial services is a plus
