Job Description
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of complex commercial contracts.
- Providing comprehensive legal advice on regulatory matters in the energy sector.
- Managing project contracts and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Advising on legal risks in relation to power generation projects.
- Coordinating with external counsel on litigation matters.
- Supporting the legal team in various corporate legal matters.
- Working closely with the business team to understand and manage legal risks.
- Ensuring all legal activities align with the company's goals and mission.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Projects and Contracts Counsel should have:
- 8-12 years of overall experience in the legal profession, ideally with a focus on the energy sector.
- Candidate should come with experience dealing with power generation/ utilities industry
