Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Legal Associate at Team Counsel. The Legal Associate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, providing advisory support to clients, and assisting in the development of strategic legal solutions. The role also involves working closely with the leadership team to manage client relationships and contribute to the firm's growth. The selected candidate will be working in Team Counsel's India vertical, focusing on clients and matters within the Indian legal and regulatory landscape.

Please note:

• The first month (assessment period) will be remote to evaluate performance and compatibility with the team.
• Upon successful completion of the assessment period, the candidate will be required to work from Bangalore or relocate to Bangalore.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate (Class of 2025) from a 5-year or 3-year law program
• Strong background in corporate law, commercial contracts, and legal consulting
• Excellent drafting and legal document preparation skills
• Strong research and analytical abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing deadlines
• Professionalism, commitment, and a problem-solving mindset
• Prior exposure to the startup ecosystem will be an added advantage
