Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements specific to the FMCG and food industry in Mumbai.
  • Provide legal counsel and advice on contractual matters, agreements, and business transactions.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and contracts.
  • Monitor and manage legal risks associated with the company's operations in the FMCG sector.
  • Managing and responding to high-risk consumer complaints.
  • Handle legal disputes and coordinate with external counsel when necessary.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the food industry.
  • Support internal teams in understanding and implementing legal requirements.
  • Develop and maintain internal policies to ensure legal compliance.
  • Must have knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • An LLB and CS degree
  • Experience in legal advisory and compliance specific to the FMCG or food industry.
  • Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal regulations and laws applicable to the FMCG sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
