Job Description

  • Provide endtoend legal support on corporate actions and transactions, with a focus on corporate finance, banking, and treasury.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including commercial contracts, facility and loan agreements, security and collateral documents, derivative contracts, and shareholder/JV documentation.
  • Identify and communicate legal and commercial risks to business stakeholders.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare opinions, and advise on regulatory and transactionrelated matters.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams across business units.
  • Support grouplevel policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
  • Track regulatory developments and brief business teams on key legal changes.
  • Manage and coordinate with external counsel to optimize cost and expertise.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Provide expertise across Banking & Finance matters, including syndicated and bilateral financing, project finance, working capital and term loans, securitisation, structured finance, debt capital markets, ECBs/ECAbacked financing, acquisition finance, and dealexecution workflows.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • An LLB degree (preferably including law firm experience).
  • Strong transactional experience in banking & finance.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Self-motivated self-starter, capable of independently driving key legal finance workstreams.
  • Solid understanding of contract structuring and execution.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
