We are looking for experienced Science Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a large-scale K12 content development project aligned with the U.S. curriculum for Grades 312.
The selected SMEs will contribute to developing high-quality instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments designed to enhance conceptual understanding and scientific inquiry among students.
This is a remote, contract-based opportunity for educators and subject experts with strong knowledge of U.S. science standards and curriculum frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop standards-aligned science instructional content for Grades 312.
- Create lesson plans, explanations, practice questions, and assessments.
- Develop content across areas such as Life Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Ensure scientific accuracy and clarity in all content.
- Design inquiry-based learning activities and problem-solving tasks.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and content teams.
- Review and refine content based on feedback.
- Utilize digital authoring tools and AI tools where required.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Science subjects
- Experience with U.S. K12 science curriculum
- Ability to create concept-based and inquiry-driven learning materials
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Experience in curriculum development or teaching
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, or Science Education
- Experience teaching or developing science curriculum for Grades 312
- Familiarity with U.S. science standards (NGSS preferred)
