Your Role And Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager - Learning Administration, you are responsible for the creation & administration of Learning modules.

Your Primary Responsibilities Include

  • The Instructional Designer (ID) or Learning Experience Designer (LXD)is responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating high-impact, instructionally sound learning solutions that address business performance gaps.

This role partners with stakeholders, SMEs, and project teams to create engaging, scalable, and measurable learning experiences for global audiences.

The ID also plays a mentoring and quality-assurance role, guiding junior designers while ensuring adherence to learning standards, tools, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Design & Development

  • Design and develop end-to-end learning solutions aligned to business goals and performance outcomes
  • Translate needs analysis into measurable learning objectives and instructional strategies
  • Apply adult learning principles, learning science, and modern LXD methodologies
  • Create design documents, storyboards, scripts, and digital learning assets
  • Structure content into logical, learner-centric formats for engagement and retention
  • Design assessments, evaluations, and measurement strategies to track effectiveness

Stakeholder & Project Collaboration

  • Work closely with SMEs, stakeholders, and project managers to gather requirements and validate content
  • Communicate design decisions, progress updates, risks, and timelines effectively
  • Ensure deliverables align with scope, budget, and quality standards
  • Support client interactions where required, including walkthroughs and feedback incorporation

Digital Development & Tools

  • Develop interactive learning using tools such as:
  • Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline)
  • WalkMe, PageTiger, Camtasia
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Use project and learning platforms such as:
  • Monday.com, ServiceNow, Cornerstone OnDemand (preferred)
  • Perform basic graphic edits:
  • Image resizing, cropping, colour correction, text edits
  • Combining or re-editing visuals for instructional use
  • Quality, Governance & Mentoring
  • Review and improve course quality, instructional alignment, and learner experience
  • Proofread and maintain all learning deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design standards and tools
  • Continuously improve processes, templates, and design practices.

Preferred Education

Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA HR is preferred) with * Graduate or post-graduate in any discipline (preferred: Education, HR, Psychology, Communications, or related field)
  • 7-10 years total experience, including:
  • Minimum 5+ years in Instructional Design / Learning Experience Design
  • Experience in global IT/ITES, consulting, or corporate learning environments
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end content design and development
  • Strong understanding of:
  • ADDIE and other LXD frameworks
  • Adult learning theory and educational psychology
  • Performance-based learning design

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Willingness to work US shifts, required for global project alignment
