LeadIAS Mentor Civil Services Talent Development Program

About The Program

LeadIAS Junior is a Civil Services Talent Development Program specifically designed for school students in Grades 5-12. The program is dedicated to fostering critical thinking, analytical abilities, effective communication skills, precise note-making, and multidimensional thinking in young learners. Our curriculum, meticulously crafted by experienced civil servants and seasoned educators, aims to instill the mindset and equip students with the essential skills required for future leadership roles and competitive examinations.

Role Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and highly responsible Mentors who can effectively engage school students through interactive online sessions. Mentors will play a crucial role in guiding students to develop robust thinking skills, enhance social awareness, and cultivate intellectual curiosity. Acting as facilitators, Mentors will lead discussions, encourage active participation, and provide unwavering support for students personal and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging online live sessions tailored for school students (Grades 5-12).
  • Stimulate critical thinking through dynamic discussions, constructive debates, challenging puzzles, and relevant real-world examples.
  • Assist students in mastering note-making techniques, refining analytical thinking, and improving communication proficiency.
  • Establish and manage student engagement platforms, such as WhatsApp groups, to foster a collaborative learning environment.
  • Proactively follow up with absent students to ensure consistent participation and engagement.
  • Serve as a motivational mentor figure, inspiring students and supporting them throughout their learning journey.
  • Facilitate productive group discussions and collaborative learning activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A strong academic foundation, ideally with a background in UPSC / State PSC preparation, or a Master's degree in Humanities or Science subjects.
  • Interest: Demonstrated keen interest in governance, societal issues, and current affairs.
  • Experience: Prior experience in mentoring or working with students is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
  • Personality: An energetic, positive, and student-friendly demeanor.
  • Technical Ability: Proficiency in conducting interactive sessions within an online environment.
  • Languages: Fluency in Hindi and English is preferred.
