Key responsibilities include sourcing via Dice/LinkedIn, navigating MSP/VMS portals, conducting technical screenings, and negotiating rates (W2, C2C) for roles like developers and analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct/State Client Focus: Manage full-cycle recruitment specifically for state government clients, adhering to stringent, specialized, and public sector requirements.
- Sourcing & Screening: Use platforms like Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn to identify IT talent.
- VMS/MSP Management: Actively manage and submit candidates through VMS (Vendor Management Systems) and MSP (Managed Service Providers) portals.
- Technical Assessment: Conduct initial technical and interviews to assess suitability for complex IT roles (e.g., Software Developers, Analysts, Architects).
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate salary, hourly rates, and benefits while ensuring compliance with US employment laws, tax terms (W2, 1099, C2C), and visa types (H1B, Green Card).
- Candidate Experience: Manage the end-to-end hiring process, from sourcing to onboarding, while building a robust talent pipeline.
Qualifications
- Experience: 510 years of experience in US IT recruitment, with specific experience supporting state government clients.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT roles, technology stacks, and technical jargon.
- System Proficiency: Experience using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and job portals.
- Communication: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Shift: Willingness to work US night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM3:00 AM IST).
