Lead Technical Writer

Superfan is an edtech platform dedicated to fostering learning and appreciation of African languages and cultures. Through its gamified, quiz-first app, Superfan engages users by exploring the richness of African proverbs, traditions, festivals, rites of passage, folklore, and customs. Designed for Africans and the global diaspora, Superfan aims to preserve and celebrate cultural heritage in an interactive way.

This is a full-time remote role for a Lead Technical Writer. The role involves creating, managing, and improving technical content, including comprehensive documentation, user manuals, and technical guides. Responsibilities include developing clear and accessible technical materials, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information, and ensuring that all documentation aligns with the company's brand and standards. The Lead Technical Writer will also play a key role in ensuring that users and stakeholders have access to accurate and up-to-date technical resources.

• Proficiency in Technical Communication and Technical Writing
• Experience in creating and managing Technical Documentation and Manuals
• Strong skills in Documentation development and content organization
• Ability to analyze technical information and translate it into clear, user-friendly content
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and an ability to ensure consistency in tone and format across documentation
• Familiarity with edtech platforms or language learning tools is a strong advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
