Description and Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the project management team in designing and implementing technical solutions for multiple projects, ensuring their efficacy and smooth data integration.
- Manage and mentor a team of solution engineers, equipping them to implement technical solutions for requirements not directly supported by the product.
- Pre-sales solutions engineering:
1. Check technical feasibility of complex requirements.
2. Answer RFQs.
3. Build custom technical solutions for unsolved problems.
- Package custom technical solutions for new and recurring requirements.
- Set processes for troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis for issues faced during project fulfillment.
- Act as a technical expert to consult customers in case of technical failures or complex requirements.
- Work with product management to understand new product capabilities and advocate for them to the fulfillment and solutions teams.
- Cultivate a culture of documentation to preserve knowledge and avoid duplicate work.
- Collaborate with the Software Engineering team to create efficient and optimal solutions for complex use cases.
Additional Job Description
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with Computer Science preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
- 5-8 years of professional programming and database experience (relational and non-relational).
- Proficiency in programming languages, system design, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven experience delivering technical solutions on time while managing resources efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively with product, QA, and business teams to achieve goals.
- Experience leading small technical teams while serving as an individual contributor.
- A degree from a premier institute in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering is a plus.
