Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Manager to oversee the delivery, maintenance, and support of integrated security systems. This role is responsible for leading a team of technical professionals, ensuring the successful execution of installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service operations while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Technical Officers and Service Engineers responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, programming, servicing, and maintenance of security systems.
- Oversee daily service and maintenance operations to ensure timely completion of projects and service commitments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers on all technical service and maintenance matters.
- Develop service plans, allocate resources, monitor project milestones, and ensure efficient workforce deployment.
- Coordinate and supervise multiple concurrent service activities while maintaining quality and operational standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing effective technical support and delivering excellent customer service.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve service processes, operational workflows, documentation, and technical standards.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, maintenance records, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to enhance their technical capabilities and professional development.
- Establish performance objectives, monitor team performance, and support staff development initiatives.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues and customer escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Evaluate customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Support business development activities by providing technical expertise during customer engagements when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in technical operations, service delivery, or maintenance management.
- Prior experience leading or supervising technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm, intercom, or other electronic security solutions will be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer relationship skills.
- Strong planning, coordination, and resource management abilities.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
