Role Overview:
The Technical Lead will be responsible for understanding existing system architecture, driving modernization initiatives, and ensuring smooth migration from legacy technologies to modern frameworks. This role requires strong technical depth, leadership skills, and the ability to think systemically about scalability, optimization, and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture Analysis & Design
- Understand current architecture and propose optimized, scalable designs.
- Ensure interoperability across multiple subsystems and technologies.
Modernization & Development
- Lead migration from legacy (.NET, SSIS, scheduled jobs) to modern frameworks (Python, microservices).
- Implement APIs and integration patterns for internal and external applications.
System Thinking
- Design solutions that consider scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Optimize workflows and reduce technical debt.
Leadership & Coordination
- Gather requirements, manage stakeholders, and ensure accountability.
- Coordinate across teams and track deliverables.
Quality & Compliance
- Enforce coding standards, testing strategies, and security best practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Python and familiarity with .NET.
- Knowledge of ETL tools (SSIS) and job scheduling/orchestration.
- Expertise in API design, microservices, and system integration.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
