About The Team

The ServiceNow Platform team is responsible for ensuring the health, stability, and security of the ServiceNow platform for the enterprise. This team works in partnership with a global team of developers to provide 24x7 support of the Bank's Enterprise Service Management platform and provide required configurations to support the Bank's strategic and tactical goals.

Impact

This position assists in the development and support of the Bank's ServiceNow Platform. The ServiceNow Developer will work on a team of other developers to configure and maintain the ServiceNow platform with a primary focus on ITSM, SIR, GRC, and IRM modules.

The ServiceNow Developer will also assist with creating updates for configurations that manage platform health and business-as-usual releases and provide appropriate technical recommendations, configurations, and data management.

Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Works with various process owners and stakeholders to support development tasks and enterprise deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, manage Update Sets, and assist with platform upgrades and patching.
  • Create and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party tools using Integration Hub or REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Coordinates network communication and application and data integration methods for the Bank's technologies.
  • Performs planning and documentation throughout support and development activities.

Skills and Qualification (Functional and Technical Skills)

Functional Skills

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have experience working within an enterprise level organization with complex infrastructures.
  • Candidate must have knowledge of the ITIL framework.
  • Experience within the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum processes.

Technical Skills

  • 5 or more years of experience with development, administration, and support of the ServiceNow platform.
  • 5 or more years of experience working with ServiceNow Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).
  • Must have experience developing complex infrastructures and ServiceNow platforms.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

Relationships & Collaboration

The ServiceNow developer will actively engage in code reviews and team stand ups to collaborate with team members to maintain a high-quality code base.

They will also regularly engage with teams and stakeholders outside of the platform team and will identify technical stakeholders to collaborate as required to develop solutions.
