Job Title: Lead – Strategy & Business Growth
Job Summary
Drive enterprise-level growth by building and scaling the Group Direct Business vertical. This role is accountable for shaping long-term strategy, owning P&L, and translating market insights into high-impact business outcomes. The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to leadership, steering business expansion, new initiatives, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Growth - Define and lead the overall strategy for the Group Direct Business, including market entry, expansion, and vertical building.
- Develop and execute integrated business plans and GTM strategies aligned with organizational objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify and incubate new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- P&L Ownership - Own end-to-end P&L for assigned projects/business units, with full accountability for revenue, cost, and profitability.
- Drive financial discipline, optimize resource allocation, and ensure sustainable margin growth.
- Data-Driven Decision Making - Leverage data analytics to derive insights on market trends, customer behavior, and sales performance.
- Translate insights into strategic recommendations and influence leadership decision-making.
- Business Building & Innovation - Conceptualize and launch new initiatives, products, or business units to accelerate growth.
- Continuously evaluate market dynamics to pivot strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
- Process Excellence & Governance - Establish scalable frameworks, policies, SOPs, and governance mechanisms across sales, operations, and administration.
- Drive process standardization and operational efficiency across the business.
- Stakeholder Management - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Act as a key interface between leadership and execution teams, aligning business priorities.
Qualifications & Skills
- MBA from a premier institute (preferred).
- 10–15 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or business planning roles with demonstrated impact on business growth.
- Strong track record of driving revenue growth and scaling business verticals.
- Proven experience in P&L management and strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities across senior levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a high degree of ownership.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
