Job Description

About the role
Lead is responsible for maintenance of books of accounts, Statutory compliances, Group reporting, leading different audits,Treasury Management and Fixed asset management.
You will be responsible for
Maintenance of Statutory accounts of Tesco Bengaluru
- Ensure Financial accounting modules ( Fixed assets, Cash Management, Accounts Receivable) are closed as per the timeline
- Passing the vital Journal entries in the books
- Preparation of Balance sheet schedules on monthly basis
- Completion of Group reporting as per the agreed timeliness
- Facilitation and closure of Statutory,Internal,Tax, and Transfer pricing audits and STPI, IT and FEMA Compliances
- Ensure fixed asset management and verification processes along with periodic reconciliation is completed
- Ensure effective cash utilization by placing and filing of the Statutory returns like APR, eTDS,etc as per the timeline
- Periodic Billing and cost recharges to inter-companies
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Driving and implementing CI Projects and innovation for their teams
- Deep expertise in a particular process or field- First line team supervisory responsibility on process mentoring, on the job training, coordinating and presenting- Maintain relationships with multiple partners, handle user problems within process- Solves complex operational problems
You will need
Conceptual Knowledge of IFRS / IAS
Tax regulations and implications
Compliance requirements of Tax authorities
Stakeholder Management
Analysis and Judgment, logical reasoning as relevant for accounting
Conceptual Knowledge of Controls - Key Finance controls, Accounting policies etc,
