WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

The Lead Financial Data Analyst in the Data Management team at SimCorp, is responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support business decision-making. With typically 5+ years of experience in financial data analysis, this role involves overseeing the collection, validation, and reporting of financial data, ensuring that it meets high standards of accuracy, integrity, and compliance. The Lead Financial Data Analyst works closely with internal teams and stakeholders to develop reporting solutions, optimize data workflows, and drive improvements in financial data management processes.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Lead the analysis of financial data, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities to support business objectives
  • Collaborate with business teams to define data requirements and ensure that financial data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with reporting needs
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data insights to stakeholders
  • Oversee the collection, validation, and integration of financial data across systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Work with IT and data teams to optimize data workflows, improve data quality, and streamline reporting processes
  • Conduct data reconciliation to ensure that financial data aligns with internal and external reporting standards
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data governance policies, and industry standards in all financial data activities
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, promoting best practices in financial data analysis and reporting
  • Drive process improvements in financial data management, implementing new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Stay up to date with developments in financial data analysis tools and techniques, recommending innovations to enhance data operations
