Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Lead/Senior ETL Engineer with 48 years of experience to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performing ETL solutions, managing data pipelines, and ensuring seamless integration across systems. You'll also contribute to architectural decisions, lead delivery planning, and provide mentorship to team members. Your hands-on expertise in ETL tools, cloud platforms, and scripting will be key to building efficient, scalable, and reliable data solutions for enterprise-level implementations.
Key Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools like SSIS, DataStage, Informatica, or Talend.
- Deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including Data Marts, Star/Snowflake schemas, Fact & Dimension tables.
- Proficient in working with relational databases: SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, DB2, or MySQL.
- Solid scripting/programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of middleware architecture and enterprise data integration strategies.
- Familiarity with reporting/BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong grasp of data modeling principles and performance optimization.
- Ability to write and review high and low-level design documents.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-cultural, distributed teams.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade middleware solutions.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers to support skill development and performance.
- Ensure timely delivery, escalate issues proactively, and manage QA and validation processes.
- Participate in planning, estimations, and recruitment activities.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and consistency in delivery.
- Experience in Sales and Marketing data domains.
- Exposure to reporting and analytics projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in global implementations and managing multi-location teams is a plus.
