Job Description

Job Title: Lead Specialist, GES Q2C (AR & Cash Application)

Location: Hyderabad, India

The Lead Specialist - GES Q2C AR & Cash Application plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely application of customer payments across global markets. The position supports strong cash flow management by minimizing unapplied cash, resolving complex payment discrepancies, and driving process excellence through continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration with Finance, AR, Credit, and Customer Service teams.

Your key responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate application of customer payments across multiple modes (ACH, wire, lockbox, cheques, credit cards).
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies including short payments, overpayments, deductions, and unapplied cash.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex cash application issues across regions and business units.
  • Drive process excellence by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and enabling automation or standardization.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and support clean AR balances and month‑end closure activities.
  • Guide, train, and mentor associate analysts while ensuring SLA adherence and strong stakeholder communication.

You bring

  • Strong experience in Order‑to‑Cash (Q2C) with specific expertise in Accounts Receivable and Cash Application.
  • Solid financial and accounting knowledge including reconciliations, AR ageing analysis, and variance analysis.
  • Hands‑on experience working withSAPin AR/Cash Application modules.
  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage complex, multi‑market cash application scenarios.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across Credit, Collections, Billing, Treasury, and Finance teams.
  • Educational background inB. Com(mandatory)MBA in Financepreferred.
