Job Title: Lead Specialist GES Finance AtR

Location: Hyderabad, India

The Lead Specialist - GES Finance AtR (Accounting to Reporting) plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial closing for assigned legal entities. This position acts as the primary contact for endtoend monthend close, ledger operations, intercompany accounting, audit support, and financial controls. The role supports both Regional Financial Controllers (RFC) and central ATR teams to drive reliable reporting, maintain SAP data integrity, and uphold strong internal controls. The specialist ensures streamlined closing processes, highquality reconciliations, and continuous alignment with corporate accounting standards..

Your key responsibilities

  • Opening/closing ledgers, executing closing tasks, journal entries, and ensuring ontime closure per Financial Closing Cockpit timelines
  • Includes bank reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, clearing intercompany mismatches, and GL research.
  • Coordination with RFC and ATR teams, handling purchase requisitions, sales orders, and customer master data updates for Bolero units.
  • Collecting data, validating inputs, and performing SAP data entry for budgets and forecasts.
  • Assisting with standard/adhoc reports, verification, proofreading, and assembly of reporting packs.
  • Monitoring internal control framework, supporting external audits, and ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies.

You bring

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting to Reporting (AtR) processes - including period close, journal entries, intercompany accounting, and reconciliations.
  • Experience with monthend & quarterend closing cycles - preferably in a shared services or multinational environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO, SEM, consolidation tools) - required for ledger operations, budget entry, and reconciliation activities.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills - especially for balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
  • Understanding of internal controls & audit processes - ability to support compliance, remediation, and external audit requirements
  • Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional finance teams - including Regional Controllers, SubLedger teams, and ATR process owners.
