About the Team: This role is for FCI Lending Digital Automation team under Lending Technology and will be helping the bank build Automation tools like PEGA, Robotics, RPA etc.

Key Deliverables (Duties And Responsibilities)
- Define the test strategy that covers functional, integration, regression, accessibility, security, usability, and performance for PEGA applications.
- Establish automation at three tiers. UI scenario tests with PEGA Scenario Testing and or Selenium Starter Kit. API tests for REST and SOAP. Rule level unit tests with Pega Unit. Integrate all suites into CI CD pipelines with Deployment Manager tasks for automated execution and reporting.
- Drive coverage goals and quality gates. Configure and monitor Test Coverage reports at user level and application level. Report covered and uncovered rules, trend coverage by release, and enforce minimum thresholds before promotion.
- Lead performance and reliability testing. Use PAL for requestor level resource analysis. Use PDC dashboards and alerts for end-to-end health signals and trend analysis. Complement with JMeter or LoadRunner where appropriate.
- Build reference architectures for test data strategy, environment config, and test isolation for Cosmos and Constellation UI.
- Own pipeline quality. Design branch and merge checks, smoke and sanity packs, nightly regressions, and release candidate sign off within Deployment Manager.
- Establish defect taxonomy, root cause analysis, and non-functional SLOs. Partner with engineering, architecture, security, and SRE to prevent repeat defects.
- Mentor lead and senior test engineers, set coding and review standards for automation, and coach teams on PEGA guardrails that affect testability.

Technical Skills
- Deep PEGA platform testing expertise including Scenario Testing, Pega Unit, Test Coverage, PAL, and PDC.
- Proven experience designing and operating CI CD quality gates that run PEGA unit and scenario tests via Deployment Manager tasks and or REST services.
- Expertise in Selenium or equivalent framework. Familiarity with the PEGA Selenium Starter Kit and page object patterns for PEGA UI.
- Strong performance engineering skills using PAL metrics, PDC insights, and external load tools.
- 8 or more years in software quality with 6 or more years focused on PEGA testing at enterprise scale.
- Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman or Karate. Strong SQL and data validation skills.
- Hands on with Git, Jenkins or Azure DevOps, and artifact-based promotion in PEGA Deployment Manager.
- Experience defining accessibility test strategy for PEGA UI including Constellation.
- Banking and financial services domain exposure.
- Experience with security testing and OWASP alignment on PEGA access control, authentication, and authorization
